The 5-inch step provides convenient access and makes heavy blast doors easier to operate, while the integrated canopy offers added protection from the elements. Left-opening and right-opening models are available. Constructed from high-strength aluminum, the platform features a slip-resistant walking surface designed for a minimum concentrated vertical load of 300 pounds applied evenly over a 12-inch × 12-inch area. The platform is engineered for a 100 PSF live load.
