Hunter Onsite to Share Ownership with its Workforce

Houston, May 22, 2024 – Hunter Onsite, leader in blast-resistant building rentals, announced today that it has launched a new shared ownership program for its workforce, with support from its private equity partner, Crossplane Capital, and in collaboration with Ownership Works, a nonprofit organization which works with companies and investors to provide all employees with the opportunity to build wealth at work. Participation in the program is free for employees and offered in addition to their regular salary and benefits.

“Shared ownership aligns with Hunter Onsite’s culture and values,” says Rodney Shrader, Hunter Onsite’s chief executive officer. “We are excited to include our employees in the financial benefits of value creation at Hunter Onsite alongside our investors. We believe that aligning our interests in this way will enhance employee engagement and operational performance, ultimately creating a stronger company for our customers, our employees, and our financial partners.”

Hunter Onsite announced the program to employees at a launch event on April 16, 2024, in Houston, TX.  To mark the start of the program, employees received individual ownership certificates and participated in a presentation about equity ownership. The Hunter Onsite Shared Ownership Program will also include initiatives related to employee engagement and personal financial wellness, with the goal of aligning all employees around a common purpose, values, and goals, while bolstering each employee’s financial capability.

Hunter Onsite sees this investment in its people and operations as particularly timely as many Americans are seeking better pay, benefits, and corporate cultures. The exact amount of any ownership program payouts will depend on overall company performance and if operational and value creation goals are met.

The combination of sharing ownership, bolstering employee voice, and increasing financial inclusion has been shown to have positive impacts on business operations, employee engagement, and retention—all of which can enhance the overall commercial success of a company.

“Crossplane Capital is thrilled to support the launch of the broad-based ownership program at Hunter Onsite,” said Mike Sullivan, Partner with Crossplane Capital. “The talented and dedicated employees of Hunter Onsite all play critical roles in the successful growth of the company, and we are excited to have every employee now benefit as owners from the equity value they are helping create each and every day.”
